Far Eastern Federal University

Located in Vladivostok in Eastern Europe, Far Eastern Federal University is one of the oldest state universities in Russia established in the year 1899. More than 20,000 students have completed their medical education in this esteemed university, with around 3,500 international students. Far Eastern Federal University is considered one of the top universities selected by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

About the University 

Established in the year 1899, FEFU is the first classical university in Russia's Far East. The institution is equipped with an ultra-modern campus, that meets international standards with a major emphasis on innovative and research-based training processes. For the past 124 years, Far Eastern Federal University has been training medical students to take care of the health of the locals and to provide innovative solutions to the global medical and healthcare industry. 

With over 200 highly skilled professional staff, FEFU strives to deliver the best of the best education to its students with a pragmatic approach. In order to facilitate student’s research and educational activities, FEFU has developed its own Learning Management System. School of Regional and International Studies 

The School of Regional and International Studies is a center of philological, regional studies, and political science research, education, and cultural interaction. This institute trains students in Asian and African studies, foreign region studies, international relations programs, political science, and philology. 

Engineering School 

The School of Engineering includes 25 departments and offers more than 35 bachelor's degree programs, 11 specialty, and around 37 master’s degree courses to their students. To facilitate students' research works and to develop a spirit of innovation, the institute is equipped with the most modern facilities and laboratories, high-tech equipment, and software. They aim to constantly improve and develop to ensure a rightful place for their graduates in the modern world. 

School of Pedagogy 

The School of Pedagogy consists of 16 departments which helps students to develop professional and personal qualities to ensure a rightful place in the ever-changing scenarios. It helps students to realize their potential not only in the field of science but also in sports and creativity. 

School of Biomedicine 

The School of Biomedicine comprises 11 departments, 5 undergraduate programs, 4 specialty programs, and 7 graduate courses. It provides students with intensive practical training, refining their professional skills through hands-on classes at a state-of-the-art medical center. The school's primary goals are advancing translational medicine, pioneering cutting-edge research, and educating experts in the biomedicine field. Its training approach follows the "Science-Education-Production" format.

School of Humanities 

The School of Humanities encompasses 8 departments, they offer 11 undergraduate courses, and 13 graduate programs. With highly skilled professionals, the academic staff of this school strives to deliver quality education, and a friendly and creative environment to help students gain knowledge and skills that help their students to excel in their career. 

School of Science 

This is one of the latest scientific and educational complex equipped with fundamental research and innovative technologies. Here, the students are trained in the fields of physics, biology, and chemistry. The School of Science includes 24 departments which offer 22 undergraduate specialist programs and 17 graduate courses. To facilitate student’s research activities, this institution is equipped with world-class laboratories of chemical, biological, and physical profiles, that allow students to explore their creative and scientific potential. 

School of Art, Culture and Sports 

The esteemed School of Art, Culture, and Sports is distinguished by its eight departments, which offer a comprehensive array of four undergraduate and seven graduate programs encompassing physical education, sports, design, and cultural studies. Within this academic enclave, students are provided access to a wealth of resources and facilities meticulously curated to nurture their pursuits. School of Economics and Management 

The School of Economics and Management constitutes 12 departments offering 15 bachelor’s degree programs, 26 executive education programs, and 16 master’s degree courses. The School of Economics and Management strives to provide life-long learning opportunities as per the international standards to all those students who aspire to study at the Far Eastern Federal University. 

Law School 

The law school of Far Eastern Federal University provides 7 programs in the fields of constitutional and administrative law, civil & entrepreneurial law, criminal law, labor and environment law, and international law. These courses are taught by 7 different departments of this school. 

Admission Process 

Students who want to pursue their higher education at Far Eastern Federal University, students must follow the following admission procedure to be admitted – 

Step 1 Fill up the admission form which is usually available online on the official website of the university 

Step 2 Submit all the required documents with your application form such as your class 12 mark sheet, valid I’d proof, etc. 

Step 3 Wait for the invitation letter from the university 

Step 4 After receiving the invitation letter from the university, students are required to contact the Russian embassy of the country of his/her residence for visa application 

Step 5 Submit the outstanding fees which include tuition fees, cost of accommodation, and other charges 

Step 6 Prepare for travel to Russia and you are ready to join the university 

Eligibility Criteria 

To get admitted to the Far Eastern Federal University, students must meet the following credit requirements: 

1. Educational requirements: Students must have passed classes 10 and 12 from a recognized institution or board. In addition, the student must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
   
   

2. Age requirements: Student must have completed the age of 17 as of 31 December in the admission year 

Note: All students are mandated to successfully pass the university's entrance examination to secure admission to the institution.

2. Class 12 passing certificate and mark sheet
