Trinity Aviation Technical College was established in 1947. The federal state educational institution of secondary vocational education, known as "Troitsk Aviation Technical College of Civil Aviation," underwent reorganization by merging with the federal state educational institution of higher professional education, "Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation" (MSTU GA) that resulted in the establishment of the Trinity Aviation Technical College as a branch of the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation.
