About the University

Established in 1931, the Kazan State Institute of Finance and Economics one of the prestigious higher educational institution in Kazan. In 2011, the institute merged with Kazan Federal University, one of the largest universities in Russia. Till date, the institute has trained more than  50,000 highly qualified specialists, who implicitly proved their professional competence in many spheres of economy.

 

Currently, 4,400+ students including the international students are studying in Russia at Kazan State Institute of Finance and Economics. The institute has more than 260 highly qualified specialists working in various departments of the institute which provide general educational and professional background to all aspirants. 

 

Currently, the educational structure of the Kazan State Institute of Finance and Economics includes 6 faculties, 3 divisions, 14 departments. Furthermore, the Institute of Economics and Finance is also a major center for retraining and advanced training of specialists and managers from companies and government agencies, as well as research and teaching staff of universities.

Admission Process

To secure a seat for higher education at the institute, the students must go through the following steps for admission: 

 

Step 1: Fill up the admission form for the chosen course, available on the university’s website.

 

Step 2: Submit your application including the required documents

 

Step 3: Receive the admission/acceptance letter from the university.

 

Step 4: After receiving the application/invitation letter from the university, students must apply for a student visa to proceed with their studies in Russia. 

 

Step 5: Students are required to make the payment of their tuition fees and other dues. 

 

Step 6: Prepare for your travel for higher education in Russia 

 

Eligibility Criteria

For higher education in Russia at Kazan State Institute of Finance and Economics, the students must fulfill the following criteria: 

  1. Students should have passed the 10+2 with an average of 50% marks in subjects including English, economics, political science, philosophy, science and technology, mathematics, finance, and business from a recognized board.

  2. Students must be 17 years of age in the year of admission to the university. 

 

Note: To secure admission at Kazan State Institute of Finance and Economics, students are required to clear the university’s specific entrance examination.
