Novosibirsk National Research State University, often abbreviated as NSU, is a public research university in the beautiful city of Novosibirsk, Russia. Founded in 1959, the university is situated in the Novosibirsk Akademagorodok, a scientific town established in the 1950s as a center for scientific research and innovation.

Throughout its history, Novosibirsk National Research University has maintained close ties with the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences and various Research and Development Institutions. Admission Process 

Students seeking admission to the Novosibirsk National Research State University must go through the following admission procedure: 

Step 1 Fill out the university’s admission form which is usually available on the university's official website 

Step 2 Submit all the required documents with the application form 

Step 3 Wait for the admission letter from the university 

Step 4 After receiving the invitation letter from the university, the student must contact the Russian Embassy of his/her country of residence for a visa application 

Step 5 Make all the payments including the complete tuition fee for the first year, cost of accommodation, and other charges 

Step 6 Make all the arrangements and travel to Russia 

Eligibility Criteria 

To secure admission to the Novosibirsk National Research State University, students are required to fulfill the following conditions: 

• The student should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% score in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board 

• The student should have completed the age of 17 years as on or before 31 December in the admission year

Note: All the students are required to qualify for the university’s entrance examination
