About the University

Omsk State Medical University is one of the oldest and renowned medical universities in the Omsk region. It was established in 1920 as the Siberian Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Zoology. Over the years, the university underwent various name changes, culminating in its designation as a full-fledged university in 2015.
